آدها ādhā अर्द्ध S̱. adj. Half. In compos. it becomes آده ādh or اده adh or ادها adhā or اد ad; as, آده جلا ādh-jalā, Half-burnt; ادهموا adh- mūā or ادموا ad-mūā, Half-dead.

آدهار ādhār S̱. (आहार Food, or for आधार Support) s. m. Food, aliment, victuals, nourishment, support.

آدهاري ādhār-i S̱. (in compos.) An eater; as, دوده آدهاري dūdh-ādhārī, One who lives on milk. ماس آدهاري mās-ādhārī, Flesh-eater, carnivorous.

آرادهنا ārādhnā S̱. or arādhnā (आराधन) v. a. 1. To worship, to adore. 2. To accomplish.

ارادهن आराधन आ and r. राध Accom- plish ārādhan S. s. m. Accomplishment, grati- fying; worship, devotion, supplication.

اساده a-sādh S̱. 1. (असाधु) adj. Evil-minded, thievish. 2. (अ and श्रद्धा Desire) adj. With- out desire or energy; lazy.

اسادهیه असाध्य a-sādhya S adj. 1. Unable, weak, incapable. 2. Impossible, incurable.

اپاده उपाध upādh S s. f. Violence, injury, injustice, tyranny.

اپادهي उपाधी upādh-ī S adj. Violent, unjust.

اپراده अपराध अप and r. राध Accom- plish apa-rādh S. s. m. Offence, transgression, crime, fault.

اپرادهن apa-rādh-in अपराधिनी S̱. s. f. A criminal, sinner, offender, transgressor.
