ٿوٿ ṭūṭ S̱. (from ٿوٿنا Sans. त्रुटि) s. f. 1. Frac- ture, breaking, break. 2. Misunderstanding or coolness between friends, harm, loss, deficiency. 3. A passage omitted in the writing of a book, which is afterwards written in the margin. ٿوٿ پڙنا ṭūṭ paṛnā, To break in upon, to rush in, to be collected in crowds. ٿوٿ جانا ṭūṭ jānā, 1. To be broken. 2. To become ill, to pine. ٿوٿ رهنا ṭūṭ rahnā, 1. To be distressed, to be weary, to be reduced to poverty, to pine away. 2. To be separated.
