توده tūda P or toda, s. m. 1. A mound, a heap, a stack. 2. The butt or mark, at which arrows are shot. توده طوفان toda-e-t̤ūfān, 1. Accusing, charging with crime. 2. A calumniator.

تهوتهنا thūthnā S̱. s. m. (थोथ) The mouth of a horse, camel, &c.

تهوک thūk H s. m. Spittle. تهوک چاٿنا thūk chāṭnā, To break oneʼs promise. تهوک دينا thūk denā, To leave, to give up. تهوک لگاکرچهوڙنا thūk lagākar chhoṛnā, To treat with sovereign contempt. تهوک لگانا thūk lagānā, To apply spittle. (A term of abuse and of most indecent meaning).

تمتمانا tamtamānā S̱. (from तमः) v. a. 1. To grow red (in the face). 2. To glow, to sparkle, to twinkle, to flash.

ترنا tarnā S̱. (तरण r. तृ Cross, pass) v. n. To pass over, to be ferried; to be saved.

تريوونشت त्रयोविंशति trayovinshati S adj. Twenty three.

تعلق taʼaﻌlluḳ A (inf. v. of علق) s. m. 1. Rela- tionship. 2. Connexion, concern, dependance, property, possession, appertaining. 3. Consideration, reflection. 4. Commerce, correspondence. 5. A manor, lordship. تعلقدار taʼaﻌlluḳ-dār, A landholder. تعلق رکهنا taʼaﻌlluḳ-rakhnā, To appertain, to belong, to depend.

توضو tawaẓẓū A (inf. v. of وضأ or وضوٴ) s. f. 1. Performing the ablution before prayer. 2. Arriving at the age of puberty when ablution must be performed.

تانڐو तांडव tānḍav S s. m. Dancing, especially with violent gesticulation. (Particularly applied to the frantick dance of the god Siva and his votaries).

تربهون त्रिभुवन tribhuwan S s. m. The three worlds, viz. heaven, earth, and the infernal re- gions; the universe. تربهون اجاگر tribhuwan- ujāgar, adj. Splendour of the three worlds.
