تنزيل tanzīl A (inf. ii. of نزل) s. f. 1. Revelation. 2. The ḳurʼān. 3. Causing (a traveller) to alight, receiving him hospitably.

تـﮩيه tahīya A (inf. ii. of هيأة or هيّ) s. m. Pre- paration, provision, putting in order.

توري torī H s. f. The name of a vegetable. See ترٴي turaʼī.

تال مکهانا tāl-makhānā H s. m. The name of a medicinal herb. (Barleria longifolia).

تجريد tajrīd A (inf. ii. of جرد) s. f. Separation, solitude, celibacy (properly, rendering solitary).

تيرنا tairnā तरण S̱. v. a. To swim, to cross over.

ترمرا tirmirā H s. m. 1. A spot of oil, &c. swimming on water. 2. An ocular spectrum, or spark appearing before the eye from the internal state of that organ.

ترتاو turtāʼo S̱. (त्वरित) adv. Instantly, quickly, hastily, directly, presently, immediately.

تير tīr P s. m. 1. An arrow. 2. The planet Mercury. 3. The fourth solar month of the Persian year (corresponding to Sans. श्रावण srāwaṇ, or Hind. sāwan). 4. A beam, a mast. تيرانداز tīr-andāz, s. m.
