تبرک tabarruk A (inf. v. of برکت Heb. He blessed) s. m. 1. Benediction, congratulation. 2. A portion of presents (or what is left of food presented to great men, &c.) given to their de- pendants; sacred relicks. (Plur. تبرکات).

تراه त्राहि trāh S or trāhi, interj. Mercy! save! تراه تراه کرنا trāhi trāhi karnā, To cry out for mercy. تراه کار trāh kār, Cry for mercy.

توڙ toṛ S̱. (from توڙنا) s. m. 1. The breach made by a gun, &c. 2. The strength of a current. 3. Whey. توڙپهوڙ toṛ-phoṛ (from توڙنا and پهوڙنا) s. m. Arranging a speech, &c. توڙدينا toṛ denā, To break, to spoil. توڙڐالنا toṛ-ḍālnā, To break and destroy, to pull down. توڙکرنا toṛ karnā, To make a breach (as, a ball). توڙلينا toṛ lenā, To gather, to pluck (fruit).

تداوي tadāwī A (inf. vi. of دوا) s. f. Administering medicine, cure, healing.

تير तीर tīr S s. m. 1. The bank of a river, the shore of the sea. 2. Near.

تفرقه tafriḳa A (inf. ii. of فرق) s. m. 1. Separa- tion, dispersion, distinction. 2. Distress. 3. Divorce. (Plur. تفاريق). تفرقه کرنا tafriḳa karnā, To separate, to distinguish.

تکسير taksīr A (inf. ii. of کسر) s. f. 1. Breaking to pieces. 2. Carrying (figures, in arithmetick). 3. Dividing so as to produce a fraction.

تشويش tashwīsh A (inf. ii. of شوش) s. f. 1. Con- fusion. 2. Distraction. 3. Anxiety, grief, dis- quietude, alarm, apprehension.
