ترپانا turpānā H v. a. To stitch, to darn, to hem.

تهمبهنا thambhnā S̱. (स्तंभन) v. n. 1. To stop, cease, be restrained. 2. To be supported.

ترسنا tarasnā तर्षण> S̱. v. n. 1. To long, to desire anxiously, be agog. 2. To pity.

تک tak H 1. adv. Till, to, up to, while, to- ward, near to, with. 2. s. f. A scale, balance. 3. verbal n. f. (from تکنا) Aim. تک باندهنا يا رهنا يالگانا tak-bāndhnā or -rahnā or -lagānā, To gaze, to stare.

تسر tasar त्रसर S̱. s. m. A kind of coarse silk, the produce of a particular worm (Bombyx paphia) that feeds on the āsan (Terminalia alata tomentosa), &c.

تنتنانا tuntunānā H v. n. To sound.

تياگنا tyāg-nā S̱. (त्याग r. त्यज Leave) v. a. To leave, to abandon, to desert, to forsake, to quit, to abdicate, resign.

تاڙ tāṛ H (from تاڙنا) s.f. Understanding. تاڙباز tāṛ- bāz, adj. Intelligent, quick of apprehension. تاڙبازي tāṛ-bāz-ī, s. f. Quickness of apprehension.

تانگا tāngā H s. m. A small two-wheeled car with- out covering, and on which one person only can sit. تانگاسوار tāngā-sawār, One who rides on a tāngā.

تصليب taṣlīb A (inf. ii. of صلب) s. f. Cruci- fixion.
