تکلي taklī S̱. (see تکلا taklā) s. f. A weaverʼs reel.

تيل tel तैल S̱. s. m. Oil. تيل چڙهانا tel chaṛ- hānā, To anoint the head, shoulders, and hands and feet of the bride and bridegroom with oil mixed with turmerick during the marriage cere- mony.

تمثيل tams̤īl A (inf. ii. of مثل) s. f. 1. Comparison, similitude. 2. Allegory, parable, apologue, an example, a counterpart or duplicate, a fac simile. (Plur. تمثيلات tams̤īlāt). تمثيل لانا tams̤īl lānā, To allegorize.

تهوک thok H s. m. 1. Amount, heap, ready money. 2. Share, portion. تهوک دار thok-dār, s. m. A wholesale dealer.

توڙواٴي toṛwāʼī S̱. or (more properly) تڙواٴي tuṛ- wāʼī (from توڙنا) s. f. Price paid for breaking, or changing coin. H. P. توڙه دار toṛa-dār, A matchlock.

ترکٿا tirkuṭā त्रिकटु S̱. s. m. A mixture of dry ginger, long pepper, and black pepper.

تغافل tag̠ẖāful A (from غفلت) s. m. 1. Negli- gence, neglect, indifference, inattention, inadver- tency. 2. Being absorbed as in sleep, &c. تغافل شعار tag̠ẖāful-shiʼāﻌr or تغافل کيش tag̠ẖā- ful-kesh, adj. Careless, inattentive. تغافل شعاري tag̠ẖāful-shiʼāﻌr-ī, s. f. Inattention, carelessness. A.H. تغافلي tag̠ẖāful-ī, s. f. See تغافل tag̠ẖāful.

تصنيف taṣnīf A (inf. ii. of صنف) s. f. Invention, composition, writing (of a book, &c.). (Plur. تصنيفات or تصانيف). تصنيف کرنا taṣnīf karnā, To compose, write (a book, &c.).

تا tā P adv. 1. To, until, as far as, whilst, as long as, even to, in order that, to the end that, in such a manner that. 2.
