تهوڙا thoṛā H adj. A little, small, scarce, few, scanty, seldom, some, less. تهوڙابـﮩت thoṛā bahut, adj. More or less. تهوڙاتهوڙا thoṛā thoṛā, A little, by degrees. تهوڙاتهوڙا هونا thoṛā thoṛā honā, To be ashamed, to shrink with shame. تهوڙي سي تهوڙا thoṛe se thoṛā, adj. Very little.

تکا tukkā P s. m. 1. A sort of arrow blunt at the end. 2. A small hill, an eminence. See تکه tukka.

تعين taʼaﻌiyun A (inf. v. of عين) s. m. Manifes- tation, appointing, appointment, establishing, establishment, assigning, deputing.

تـﮩور tahauwur A (inf. v. of هور) s. m. 1. Teme- rity, rashness, plunging inconsiderately into any business; intrepidity. 2. Fury. 3. Oppression.

تحت taḥt A s. m. 1. The inferiour part, be- low, under. 2. Subjection, possession. تحت الثرا taḥtu-s̤-s̤arā or تحت الثري taḥtu-s̤-s̤arạ̄, s. m. Under the earth. تحت الشعاع taḥtu-sh-shuʼāﻌﻌ, s. m. Change of the moon, conjunction with the sun. تحت تصرف taḥt-i-taṣarruf or تحت فرمان taḥt-i-farmān, s. m. Subjection, dominion. تحت لفظي taḥt-lafz̤ī, adj. Literal. adv. Ver- bally, literal translation, interlinear translation. تحت مين لانا taḥt meṅ lānā, To conquer, sub- jugate, bring under, reduce.

تانا tānā S̱. (r. तन Expand, stretch out) s. m. The warp, the threads that are extended length- wise upon a loom. تانا بانا کرنا tānā bānā karnā,

ترلوچن त्रिलोचन tri-lochan S (having) three eyes; s. m. The Hindū deity, Siva.

تاري tārī ताली S̱. s. f. 1. The clapping of hands. 2. A key. 3. Abstraction, absence of mind, absorption in thought or devotion.

تامڙا tāmṛā ताम्र S̱. s. m. A gem of inferiour value, of a copper colour.

تکسر takassur A (inf. v. of کسر) s. m. 1. Being broken or shattered, spent or debilitated. 2. Carrying (figures, in arithmetick). 3. Folding up the wings (as a bird when about to cease from flight).
