تسبيح tasbīḥ A (inf. ii. of سبح Heb. He praised) s. f. 1. The act of praising God. 2. A rosary, a chaplet of beads (not applied to a Hindū rosary). تسبيح خانه tasbīḥ-ḵẖāna, A chapel. تسبيح خوان tasbīḥ-ḵẖẉān, 1. Saying prayers. 2. A person hired to pray for ano- ther, a private chaplain. تسبيح خواني tasbīḥ- ḵẖẉān-ī, The office of a chaplain.

تخمينا taḵẖmīnaṉ A (from خمن) adv. 1. By guess, by conjecture, by appraisement. 2. Nearly, about.

تراش خراش tarāsh-ḵẖarāsh P s. f. Shape (parti- cularly, good), neatness of form. P.H. تراشنا tarāshnā (from تراش) v. a. 1. To cut, to clip, prune. 2. To shave. 3. To shape, to cut out. اپني تئين تراشنا apne taʼīṅ tarāshnā, To be vain, to value or esteem oneʼs self above others.

ترن तरुण taruṇ S adj. Young, juvenile, adult. S. ترن (r. तृ Cross, traverse) 1. तरणि taraṇi, s. m. The sun. 2. s. f. A boat. 3. तरण taraṇ, s. m. Passing over; escaping, being saved. 4. One who is saved or delivered.

تنڐ tunḍ H s. (dakh.) A large piece of wood or stick.

ترتراتا tartarātā H adj. 1. Very greasy. 2. Drip- ping with moisture.

تردستي tar-dast-ī P s. f. Expertness, activity.
