تلا तुला tulā S s. f. 1. A balance or scale. 2. The sign Libra of the zodiack. 3. The practice of being weighed against gold or any kind of valuable substance, which is afterwards given to priests.

تراي tarāʼī H s. f. A marsh, mead, meadow. تراي کهيوا tarāʼī-khewā, adj. Living in, or near water, waterfowl, water-(spaniel, &c.).

تندر tundar P or tundur, s. Thunder.

تبرک tabarruk A (inf. v. of برکت Heb. He blessed) s. m. 1. Benediction, congratulation. 2. A portion of presents (or what is left of food presented to great men, &c.) given to their de- pendants; sacred relicks. (Plur. تبرکات).

تدرو tadarv P (Pers. تذرو) s. m. A pheasant (to whose gait that of a mistress is compared).

توائي tawāʼī P. (for تباهي) s. f. Distress, misfortune.

تصحيحه taṣʼḥīḥ-a A s. m. Muster. داغ تصحيحه dāg̠ẖ-i-taṣʼḥīḥa, The office in which the horses taken up for service are marked.

تحاشي taḥāshī A (from حشي) s. 1. Exception, putting aside. 2. (perhaps, for تخاشي) Fear.

تمسک tamassuk A (inf. v. of مسک) s. m. A note of hand, bond, obligation, receipt.

تهوک thūk H s. m. Spittle. تهوک چاٿنا thūk chāṭnā, To break oneʼs promise. تهوک دينا thūk denā, To leave, to give up. تهوک لگاکرچهوڙنا thūk lagākar chhoṛnā, To treat with sovereign contempt. تهوک لگانا thūk lagānā, To apply spittle. (A term of abuse and of most indecent meaning).
