تدارک tadāruk A (inf. vi. of درک) s. m. 1. Re- paration, remedy, an expedient, precaution, pro- vision, preparation (particularly, to obtain jus- tice). 2. The instruments and means used to procure justice (as, writings, lawyers, witnesses, &c.). 3. Chastisement, retaliation. تدارک کرنا tadāruk karnā, To provide against, to make pre- paration, to take precaution, to redress, oppose, to chastise.

Unable to keep any thing secret, blab. تنگ درزي tang-darz-ī, s. f. Close stitching. تنگ دست tang-dast, adj. Poor, distressed, miserly, stingy. تنگ دستي tang-dast-ī, s. f. 1. Poverty, want, inability. 2. Parsimony. تنگ دل tang-dil, adj. Narrow-hearted, miserly, niggard, illiberal. تنگدلي tang-dil-ī, s. f. Narrow-heartedness; niggardliness, stinginess, parsimony. تنگ دهن tang-dahan, adj. Small-mouthed; an epithet of a sweetheart. تنگ کرنا tang-karnā, 1. To straiten, to tighten, to narrow, to contract. 2. To distress. تنگ لينا tang-lenā, To tighten, to take in, to contract. بتنگ هونا ba-tang honā, To be in distress or dif- ficulty, to be distracted or harrassed, to be ex- hausted or tired.

تناد tanādd A (inf. vi. of ندّ Heb. and Aram. Fled) s. Dispersion, flight.

تسبيح tasbīḥ A (inf. ii. of سبح Heb. He praised) s. f. 1. The act of praising God. 2. A rosary, a chaplet of beads (not applied to a Hindū rosary). تسبيح خانه tasbīḥ-ḵẖāna, A chapel. تسبيح خوان tasbīḥ-ḵẖẉān, 1. Saying prayers. 2. A person hired to pray for ano- ther, a private chaplain. تسبيح خواني tasbīḥ- ḵẖẉān-ī, The office of a chaplain.
