توجه tawājjuh A (inf. v. of وجه) s. f. 1. Turning, proceeding or undertaking a journey towards, countenancing, regarding, regard, attending to, attention, tendency. 2. Kindness, favour, obli- gingness. (Plur. توجـﮩ‍ات).

تلاوا tulāwā S̱. (r. तुल Weigh) s. m. Part of a Hindūstanī carriage, which rests on the axle- tree arm and supports the body of the carriage.

تکبر takabbur A (inf. v. of کبر) s. m. Arrogance, haughtiness, pride. A. H. تکبري takabbur-ī, s. f. Haughtiness.

تکفير takfīr A (inf. ii. of کفر or کفاره) s. f. 1. Co- vering. 2. Expiating a crime, doing penance or paying a mulct as atonement. 3. Humbling oneʼs self before another (putting the hand upon the breast, and inclining the head), showing distant respect. 4. Accusing one of impiety, calling him infidel, making one an unbeliever. 5. Guiltiness.

تقصير taḳṣīr A (inf. ii. of قصر or قصور) s. f. Fault, errour, crime, offence. (Plur. تقصيرات taḳṣīrāt). تقصيروار taḳṣīr-wār, Blamable, faulty, criminal, guilty, convict, culpable.

تباره tibāra त्रिवार S̱. 1. adj. Thrice. 2. A hall or room with three doors.

تراي tarāʼī H s. f. A marsh, mead, meadow. تراي کهيوا tarāʼī-khewā, adj. Living in, or near water, waterfowl, water-(spaniel, &c.).
