پسا pasā प्रसृत S̱. s. m. Two handfuls, as much as can be held in both hands open. See انجلا anjlā.

پربهاتي प्रभाती prabhāt-ī S adj. Sung in a tune (or rāginī) peculiar to morning.

پتهرچٿا patthar chaṭā S̱. 1. s. m. Name of a sort of greens. 2. A skinflint. 3. Name of a ser- pent. 4. Name of a fish. 5. adj. One attach- ed to his own house, who remains there even in distress.

پلاو palāʼo S̱. s. m. (पलाल Straw) Thatching.

پاراين पारायण pārāyaṇ S s. m. The act of reading a Purāṇ continually, without expres- sing its meaning.

پچهوڙنا pachhoṛnā S̱. (r. स्पुट Separate, divide) v. a. To winnow with a basket used for this purpose. See پهٿکنا phaṭaknā.

پچوني pachaunī S̱. (r. पच Cook, &c.) s. f. The stomach. S. پچهـ पक्ष (r. पक्ष Take a part) pachh̤ or pakh̤, s. m. 1. A wing, feather. 2. The half of a lunar month, or a fortnight comprising fifteen days. 3. Side, party, assistance, adherence. 4. Partiality.

پاکهنڐي पाषंडी pākh̤anḍī S or pāsh̤anḍī, adj. Hypocritical, deceitful, heretical.

پورا pūrā पूर्ण S̱. adj. Full, complete, entire, ex- act, perfect, sufficient, just, total, ripe, power- ful. پوراکرنا pūrā karnā, v. a. To fill, to fulfil, to accomplish, to complete; to reimburse.
