پٿي paṭṭī S s. f. 1. (पट्टी) A bandage, a fillet. 2. (पट्टिका) A quarter of a place. 3. The side pieces of the frame of a bedstead. پٿي پکڙکي هلتي رهنا paṭṭī pakaṛke hilte rahnā, de- notes excessive weakness and laziness. پٿي توڙنا paṭṭī toṛnā, To be bedrid. پٿي سي پٿي ملانا paṭṭī se paṭṭī milānā, expresses the most inti- mate proximity. 4. A row. 5. A kind of sweet- meat. 6. Division of the hair which is combed towards the two sides and divided by a line in the middle. 7. (पट्ट or पट्टी) A written or- der or patent.
