پڙپڙانا paṛpaṛānā H v. n. 1. To prattle, to chat- ter. 2. To throb with pain (as, the tongue from an acid substance).

پهرپهرانا phurphurānā S̱. (r. स्फुर Shake, move) v. n. 1. To tremble. 2. To wave (as, hair in the wind).

پشپ पुष्प push̤p S s. m. A flower.

پنـﮩا panhā P. (corrupt. of پـﮩنا pahnā) adj. Wide, broad.

پڙيا paṛiyā H s. f. A female buffalo calf.

پن pan S s. m. (पण) 1. Vow, promise, reso- lution. 2. An aggregate number consisting of twenty ganḍās (q. v.) or, eighty kauṛīs: (and sixteen pans make a kāhan). 3. (for पर्ण) contract of پان; as پن بٿا pan-baṭṭā, s. m. A betel box.

پـﮩنچي pahunchī H s. f. An ornament worn on the wrist, a kind of bracelet.

پـﮩ‍لا pahlā, paihlā H or pahilā, 1. adj. First. 2. adv. Before, rather, soon.

پهرکي phirkī S̱. (see پهرنا) s. f. A whirligig, any thing turning as on an axis.

پهٿ پڙنا phaṭ paṛnā S̱. v. n. 1. To be produced plentifully. 2. To become fat suddenly. 3. To be confounded with too much business. آسمان پهٿ پڙنا āsmān phaṭ paṛnā, v. n. To rain hard.
