پالا pālā प्रालेय S̱. s. m. 1. Frost, hoar-frost, snow. 2. Trust, charge. 3. A heap of earth made by children to separate the two parties in a game called kabaḍḍī. 4. Leaves of a tree named jhaṛberī (a species of Zizyphus). پالاپڙنا pālā paṛnā, v. n. To snow. پالي پڙنا pāle paṛ- nā, v. n. To fall within the power of another.

پتر पितृ pitr̤i S s. m. Father. پترگهاتک pitr̤i- ghātak, A parricide, destroyer of a parent. ¶ पितरः pitara, s. m. plur. Fathers.
