پاکبازي pāk-bāz-ī P s. f. Purity (generally, of mind), candour.

پوچهي pūchhī पुच्छ S̱. s. f. The tail of a fish.

پونچهنا ponchhnā H or pūnchhnā, v. a. To wipe.

پيشگاه pesh-gāh P s. f. The foremost place, a por- tico.

پرکنا paraknā S̱. v. a. See پرکهنا parakhnā.

پيغمبري paig̠ẖambar-ī P s. f. Mission (especially, as a prophet).

پرچها parchhā H s. m. 1. Self-sown paddy (rice). 2. A spindle for winding thread on. 3. Same as پهرچا pharchā, q. v.

پرگنه pargana P s. m. An inferiour division of a country (less than a ضلع ẓilﻌ) nearly equalling a barony. پرگنه دار pargana-dār, s. m. The su- periour officer of a pargana, lord of the barony.

پوپني popnī H s. f. 1. A wind instrument (of musick) made by children, of the seeds of mango and the leaves of the Borassus. 2. Any wind instrument. H.S̱. پوپهٿنا po-phaṭnā (see پوه poh) v. n. To dawn, to be break of day.

پينڐ pīnḍ H s. m. A roller.
