پگا pagā H s. m. A rope fastened round the neck of a bullock, a tether.

پهرپڙنا phir paṛnā S̱. v. n. (i. q. ناخوش هونا) To be displeased, indisposed, unpleasant, &c.

پرباس prabās S (प्रवास from प्र and r. वस Dwell) s. m. Travelling, journey, sojourning in a foreign country, abroad. S. پرباسي 1. प्रवासी prabās-ī, s. m. A traveller. 2. पुरवासी pura-bāsī, s. m. An inhabitant of a city.

پهکنا phuknā S̱. (intrans. of پهونکنا phūnknā, q. v.) v. n. To be blown, to be blown up (a fire), to be blown up into a flame.

پهپها phupphā H s. m. The husband of a pater- nal aunt.

پـﮩنانا pahnānā S̱. or pahinānā (causal of پـﮩنا pa- hannā, q. v.) v. a. To dress, to cause to put on.

پولک polak S̱. (r. पूल Heap together) s. Straw bands at the end of a staff, used with a چرخي

پنـﮩان pinhān P adj. Secret, hidden, concealed.

پهاگ phāg फल्गु S̱. s. m. 1. Red powder (sprinkled in the time of the Holī). 2. The act of throwing coloured powders in the Holī, the gambols of the Holī.
