پٿ पुट puṭ S s. m. A menstruum, solvent, flux.

پاپ पाप pāp S s. m. Sin, fault, crime.

پنپنا panapnā H v. n. 1. To commence increasing in bulk (a man, tree, &c.). 2. To pros- per, to flourish, to thrive, to shoot, to grow, to be refreshed or restored.

پروپکار परोपकार paropkār S s. m. The helping of others, beneficence. S. پروپکاري परोपकारी (i. e. पर Other, and उपकारी Assisting) paropakārī, adj. Acting for others, beneficent, hospitable.

پلٿانا palṭānā H (trans. of پلٿنا) v. a. To turn, cause to turn, return, convert, repel. H.S̱. پلٿاکهانا palṭā khānā, v. a. 1. To turn over head and heels. 2. To overturn, to be tilted. 3. To rebound.

پتا patā H s. m. A sign, mark, symptom, hint, token, direction, address or place to which one is directed, label.

پهوپها phūphā H s. m. Fatherʼs sisterʼs husband.

پوزمال pūz-māl P s. m. A cord twisted tight round a horseʼs lip or ear to enable the farrier to manage him.
