پهليا phaliyā S̱. (from फल) s. f. A cod, a pod (or the seed) of any legumi- nous plant, but particularly of peas. 2. A loop. پهلي کش phalī-kash, s. m. A hook for drawing the strings through the holes by which the walls of a tent are laced to the top.

پيچوان pech-wān P adj. Twisted (generally ap- plied to ḥuḳḳas or ḥuḳḳa snakes).

پامال pā-māl P adj. Trodden on, ruined, de- stroyed.

پردازي pardāz-ī P s. f. (In compos.) Performance. P.H. پردانا pardānā (from پرده) v. a. To keep be- hind a screen, to conceal. (Inelegant).
