پرکهانا parkhānā S̱. (causal of پرکهنا q. v.) v. a. To cause to inspect, examine, try or prove.

پنچکهنا panch-khanā S̱. (पंच Five, and खंड A part) adj. Consisting of five floors or stories (a house, &c.).

پرداخت pardāḵẖt P (from پرداختن) s. f. Per- formance, patronising, relinquishment.

پونسلأي pūn-salā-ī H s. f. A thin roller on which cotton is prepared for spinning.

پروا pariwā प्रतिपद् S̱. s. f. The first day of a lunar fortnight, the first of the moonʼs increase or wane.

پهسانا phasānā S̱. (from پهسنا) v. a. 1. To cause to stick (as in mud, &c.), to mire, entangle, em- broil, catch, cause to be imprisoned, squash.

پرواسي प्रवासी pravās-ī S s. m. A traveller.

پهپولا phapolā S̱. (स्फोट) s. m. A blister. پهپهولي پهوٿني phaphole phūṭne, v. n. To be blistered; it is used to express the mind being blistered, to be afflicted. پهپهولي دل کي پهوڙني phaphole dil ke phoṛne, To satisfy a revenge that has long been rankling in oneʼs breast.
