پادنا pādnā पर्द्दन S. v. n. To fart.

پوٿ poṭ H s. f. 1. A bundle, a bale, a package. 2. A spout.

پيڙي peṛī H s. f. 1. A kind of sweetmeat made with curds (dimin. of پيڙا). 2. A kind of betel leaf. 3. The indigo plant after being once cut. 4. The trunk of a tree. ¶ paiṛī, s. f. A ladder, staircase, flight of steps.

پهٿ پڙنا phaṭ paṛnā S̱. v. n. 1. To be produced plentifully. 2. To become fat suddenly. 3. To be confounded with too much business. آسمان پهٿ پڙنا āsmān phaṭ paṛnā, v. n. To rain hard.

پاپڙ pāpaṛ S̱. or pāpar (पर्पट) s. m. A thin crisp cake made of any grain of the pea kind. پاپڙبيلنا pāpaṛ-belnā, To undergo great labour or pain.

پتهرپهوڙ patthar-phoṛ S̱. s. m. A woodpecker. (Pi- cus).

پچ پچ pachpach H s. m. The noise made by walking in damp places.

پهينٿا phenṭā H or phainṭā, s. f. 1. Waist-band. 2. A small turband.

پرستابک prastābik प्रस्ताविक S̱. adj. Sug- gested by previous mention, well-timed, apropos, opportune, seasonable.
