پرهيز parhez P (from پرهيختن or پرهيزيدن) s.m. Ab- stinence, forbearance, continence, abstaining or keeping aloof, control of the passions, caution, sobriety. بدي پرهيز badī-parhez, Abstaining from evil. پرهيزکرنا parhez karnā, v. a. 1. To control oneʼs passions. 2. To abstain (from), to keep aloof, or be on oneʼs guard (from), to avoid. 3. To observe a regimen.
