پرپنچي parpanch-ī प्रपंची S̱. adj. Insidious, fraudulent, artful.

پاکهر pākhar H s. f. Iron armour for the defence of a horse or of an elephant. S̱. پاکهنڐ (पाषंड्य) pākh̤anḍ or pāsh̤anḍ, s. m. Wickedness, deceit, hypocrisy, heresy.

پکواٴي pakwāʼī S̱. s. f. Price paid for cooking.

پات pāt पत्र S̱. s. m. 1. A leaf. 2. An orna- ment worn in the upper part of the ear. 3. A draught or check on a banker. پاتون آلگنا pā- toṅ-ā-lagnā, applied to trees, indicates the fall of their leaves in autumn: metaphorically, the phrase signifies that oneʼs power or ability is exhausted; and, this expression is often applied to patience exhausted by the scorn of a beloved person; or, to a destitute condition from ad- verse fortune.

پالي pālī H s. f. 1. A battle between birds. 2. A place where birds fight, a cockpit. 3. A co- vering of a pot.

پشٿ पुष्ठ push̤ṭ S adj. 1. Nourished, fat. 2. Restorative, provocative.

پشتاوا pashtāwā S̱. s. m. See پچهتاوا pachhtāwā.

پنڐياين panḍiyāyan S̱. s. f. The wife of a پانڐي.

پچي pachchī H adj. 1. Adherent, sticking, joined. 2. (met. in musick) In unison. پچي کاري pachchī-kārī, s. f. 1. Mosaick. 2. Patching or darning of damaged cloth. پچي هونا pachchī honā, 1. To be stuck together as with glue. 2. To be in unison. 3. To be strongly attached by love.

پاسنگ pā-sang P s. m. A make weight, some- thing placed in one scale to balance the other, or something placed on one side of a load to form an equipoise to the other.
