پاچهي pāchhai S̄. S̱. پاچهين pāchhaiṅ or pāchheṅ, adv. Behind, after, after- wards, in the absence. See پيچهي.

پهندنا phundnā H s. m. A tassel.

پريا priyā S 1. (or priya प्रिय) adj. m. 2. (प्रिया) adj. f. Beloved, dear; sweetheart. هي پريي he priye, My dear!

پچکهنا pach-khanā S̱. (पंच Five, and खंड Part) adj. Consisting of five parts or divisions (a house, &c.). S̱.H. پچلڙا pach-laṛā (पंच Five, and لڙ Row) adj. Of five strings (a necklace, &c.). S̱.H. پچلڙي pach-laṛī, s. f. A necklace consisting of five rows or strings.

پريتم prītam प्रियतम S̱. adj. superl. Dearest, most beloved; s. m. A favourite, friend, be- loved, lover, sweetheart, husband. See پيتم pī- tam.

پراٿها parāṭhā H s. m. Bread made with butter or ghī, and of several layers, like pie-crust.

پونا ponā H 1. v. a. To string (pearls), to thread (a needle). 2. To make bread. 3. s. m. A spoon with holes in it like a colander for skim- ming, &c.

پڙوسن paṛosin S̱. (पार्श्विनी or प्रतिवेशिनी or प्रतिवासिनी) s. f. A female neighbour.

پتامه पितामह pitā-maha S s. m. 1. Paternal grandfather. 2. A name of Brahmā, the great father of all.
