برده barda P s. m. and f. A captive, a slave. برده فروش barda-farosh, A slave merchant.

بنانا banānā H (trans. of بننا) v. a. To make, pre- pare, form, fashion, shape, to do, fabricate, build, compose, perform, to make to agree, to adjust, adorn, reconcile, to pluck (a fowl), to dress (vic- tuals), to mend, repair, invent, rectify, mock, feign. H. S̱. بن آنا ban-ānā, v. n. To be performed or ef- fected, to succeed, to be fortunate, to prosper.

بک bak वाक् S̱. s. f. Prattle, chat, foolish talk, garrulity. بک جهک bak jhak, s. f. Prat- tle, &c. same as بک bak. بک جهک کرنا bak jhak karnā, To prattle, to chatter, to gabble. بک لگني bak lagnī, Talkativeness, garrulity.

باطن bāt̤in A (from بطن) s. m. The inward part, the inside, the internal; the heart, the mind. adj. Internal, hidden, concealed.

بير bair S (वैर) s. m. Enmity, hostility, ani- mosity, revenge. بيرلينا bair lenā, v. a. To re- venge.

بکسا baksā H adj. Astringent.

بهنڐولي bhanḍolī S̱. (see بهنڐا and اولي) s. f. (dakh. i. q. گهڙي پرگهڙا) Water-pot on water-pot.

بنجهوٿي banjhoṭī S̱. (from बंध्या Barren) s. f. A medicine taken to produce barrenness.
