بهيد भेद bhed S s. m. 1. A secret, secrecy, mys- tery. 2. Separation, difference. بهيدلينا bhed- lenā, v. a. To spy, to pry into, to work oneʼs self into confidence, to sound.

بيسوا beswā वेश्या S̱. s. f. A prostitute.

بديادهر विद्याधर bidyādhar S or vidyā-dhara, s. m. A sort of demi-god or attendant in the celestial courts. (The Vidyādharas dance be- fore the assembled deities in Indraʼs heaven).

بيري bīrī H s. f. A composition which being rub- bed on the teeth stains their interstices of a red- dish colour.

باڙهنو bāṛhnau S̱. v. n. See بڙهنا baṛhnā.

بلاٴين لينا balāʼeṅ lenā A. S̱. To draw the hands over the head of another in token of taking all his misfortunes upon oneʼs self. (Generally practised by women).

بلا billā विडाल S̱. s. m. A male cat.

بنات banāt A f. plur. (of بنت) Daughters.

بخار buḵẖār A s. m. Steam, glowing heat (of the ground or such as is felt in a fever), vapour, ex- halation. بخاردل مين رکهنا buḵẖār dil meṅ raḵẖnā, To entertain enmity or malice in the heart. بخارنکلنا buḵẖār nikalnā, To break out (as, an eruption on the skin).

بجهکانا bijhkānā S̱. (trans. of بجهکنا) v. a. To frighten, to scare, to alarm.
