بجهانا bajhānā H (trans. of بجهنا bajhnā) v. a. To entangle, to insnare (as game), to entrap.

بچلنا bichalnā S̱. (वि and r. चल Go) v. n. To turn, to bend, to slip, to break oneʼs promise, to infringe.

باسکي bāsukī S (वासुकि) s. m. The chief of serpents, which is fabled to support the universe, and which was used as a string to whirl the mountain Mandar in churning the ocean for the amr̤it, &c.

بش bish विष S̱. s. m. Poison. See بس bis.

بهپهارا bhaphārā S̱. (from بهاپهـ Sans. वाष्प) s. m. Steam, vapour.

باسنا bāsnā S̱. (or vāsanā वासना) s. f. Desire, inclination, choice. ¶ bāsnā (वासन r. वास Perfume) v. a. To scent, to perfume.

بنسي bansī S s. f. 1. (वंशी) A flute. بنسي بٿ bansī baṭ, The fig tree under which Kr̤ish̤ṇa was accustomed to play the flute. 2. (वडिश) A fishing hook. 3. (in compos. from بنس) Of the race or lineage.

بهوندنا bhondnā H (dakh.) v. a. To deceive, &c. See فريب دينا under فريب fareb.

باهنا bāhnā S̱. (caus. of بهنا To flow, q. v.) v. a. To shoot, to discharge a weapon.

برکهنا barakhnā S̱. v. n. To rain. See S̱. برسنا.
