ايمه aima A. s. m. (for aʼịmma, plur. of امام but used to denote) Land given as a reward or fa- vour by the king at a very low rent, a fief. (When no rent is paid, the land is called لااخراج lā ḵẖirāj). Charity lands. ايمه دار aima-dār, One who holds land in ايمه aima, a feoffee.

الجوع aljūﻌ A (ال art. and جوع Hunger) interj. used in complaining of hunger.

ارتهات अर्थात् arthāt S s. m. 5th case sing. That is to say, viz.

اتیت अतीत atīt S adj. Passed, elapsed.

ارجل arjal A s. m. 1. A horse with one white foot. 2. A large-footed man.

اٿهاسي aṭhāsī अष्टाशीति S̱. adj. Eighty-eight.
