بترن विरतण bitaran S or vitaraṇ, s. m. Giving charity, donation, alms.

بشير bashīr A s. m. A messenger of good tidings.

بين بين bain-bain A adj. Intermediate (between good and evil); middling, passable, indifferent, tolerable.

بهر भर bhar S adj. Full, as much as, as far as, up to, whole, all, bulk, size, every, each. As, بهرمقدور bhar maḳdūr, or مقدوربهر maḳdūr bhar, To the best of oneʼs power, with all oneʼs might; بانس بهر bāns bhar, The height or length of a bamboo; سيربهر ser bhar, A ser; عمربهر uﻌmr bhar, All lifetime. کوس بهر kos bhar, A kos; whereas بهرکوس bhar kos would mean a full kos.

بيلا bel-ā S̱. s. f. 1. Name of a shrub. (Jasminum zambac). 2. A cup. 3. An instrument of mu- sick resembling a fiddle.

بيراگي bairāgī S (वैरागी) s. m. 1. The religious ascetick, or he who abandons terrestrial objects, thoughts, passions, &c. 2. A kind of wandering faḳīr who practices certain austerities.

بتيسا battīs-ā H s. m. A medicine composed of thirty-two ingredients, usually given to mares after foaling.

بانک پٿنا bānk-paṭṭā S̱. s. m. A kind of fencing with (wooden) dagger and cutlass. S̱. H. بانک پن bānk-pan (بانکا and پن) s. m. Fop- pishness, debauchery, disorderly conduct.

بناونا banāʼonā H v. a. To make, to prepare. See بنانا banānā. H. S̱. بناياجانا banāyā jānā, v. n. To be making, to be in hand.

بيخ beḵẖ P s. f. 1. Root. 2. Origin, foundation. بيخ کن beḵẖ-kan, An extirpator, exterminator; a judge (as extirpating thieves); a thief (as des- troying the subjects). بيخ کني beḵẖ-kan-ī, s. f. Extirpation, extermination, eradication.
