بعض baﻌẓ A adj. Some, certain ones, several.

بردان bardān S or vara-dān (वर A bridegroom, a blessing, and दान A gift) s. m. 1. A wed- ding gift (to a bride). 2. The answer to a prayer addressed to God or to a saint.

بلديا baldiyā S̱. (See s̱. بردي) s. m. A cow-herd, a bullock-driver, a drover, a grain-merchant.

بناوري banāwarī H (from بنانا) s. f. Preparation.

بنس bans S (वंश) s. m. 1. Race, lineage, fa- mily, offspring, descendant. 2. A bamboo.

بهاڙا bhāṛā H s. m. Hire, fare.

بـﮩنا bahnā S̱. (r. वह Run, flow) v. n. 1. To flow, to glide. 2. To float. 3. To blow. 4. To pass, drive.

بان bān P (used as an affix in compos. only) Keep- er, guardian; so, دربان dar-bān, Door-keeper; سگبان sag-bān, Dog-keeper. H.S̱. بان بان کرنا bāṅ bāṅ karnā, v. a. To prate idly, to talk foolishly.

بيڙهنا beṛhnā H v. a. 1. To enclose with a fence, to surround. 2. To pound (cattle, &c.). 3. To drive away cattle.

بالاتّفاق bi-l-ittifāḳ A By chance, by or with agree- ment or concord or unanimity or success.
