بـﮩروپيا bahu-rūpiyā बहुरूपी S̱. s. m. An actor, a mimick.

باسا bāsā वास S̱. s. m. Lodging, abode, dwel- ling, temporary residence.

برن سنکر barn-sankar S̱. (or varṇa-sankara वर्ण संकर) s. m. A person of a tribe originating in the intercourse of a man of one tribe with a woman of another.

براه barāh S (or varāha for वराह) s. m. 1. A boar. 2. The third avatār or incarnation of Vish̤ṇu in the form of a boar.

بسبسانا bisbisānā H v. n. To yield a sound as in the fermentation of putrefying vegetables or of vinous liquors. See بج بجانا.

بوجهـ bojh H s. m. A load, burthen. بوجهـ پکڙنا bojh pakaṛnā, To affect consequence or to give oneʼs self airs (generally spoken in raillery). بوجهـ سرپرهونا bojh sir par honā, is applied to a task the performance of which is become in- dispensable.

بادشاه bādshāh P s. m. A king, a sovereign.

بهاگ جانا bhāg-jānā H v. n. To run away, to flee, to abscond.

باغها bāg̠ẖ-hā P s. plur. (of باغ) Gardens, &c.

باده bāda P s. m. Wine, spirits. باده پرست bāda- parast, adj. Addicted to wine; drunkard. باده کش bāda-kash, Wine-drawer. باده کشي bāda- kash-ī, s. f. Wine-drawing. باده گسار bāda-gusār, or باده نوش bāda-nosh, wine-drinker. باده نوشي bāda-nosh-ī, s. f. Wine-drinking.
