برهم ब्रह्म brahm S or brahma, God, the cause and essence of the world from which all things are supposed to proceed and to which they return. برهم استر brahm-astra, s. m. بيسني baisanī S̱. s. f. A female of the بيس bais cast.

بهکشک भिक्षुक bhiksh̤uk S s. m. A beggar. See بهکهاري bhikhārī.

بيلا bel-ā S̱. s. f. 1. Name of a shrub. (Jasminum zambac). 2. A cup. 3. An instrument of mu- sick resembling a fiddle.

بنات النعش banātu-n-naﻌsh A s. m. The constel- lation of the Greater or Lesser Bear, consisting of seven stars; four of which are conceived to bear the resemblance of a bier (نعش), and the remaining three to be the (بنات) daughters pre- ceding it.

بلاوا bulāwā H s. Calling: see بلاهٿ.

بهوٴي bhoʼī H s. m. 1. A chair-porter, a pālkī- bearer, a bearer. 2. A white cat.
