استخدام istiḵẖdām A (inf. x. of خدم) s. m. Em- ploying, making use of the labour of another, asking or getting employment.

آروغ ārog̠ẖ P s. m. Belch, eructation.

اگلنا ugalnā S̱. (उत् and r. गल Eat) v. a. To spit out, to vomit; (metaph.) to refund pro- perty surreptitiously obtained.

الحال al-ḥāl A adv. Now, at present, presently, just now.

اکل akkāl A adj. superl. (of آکل) A glutton, a gormandizer.

آماج āmāj P s. m. A mound or heap of earth on which a mark is fixed to shoot arrows at, a mark or butt for shooting arrows at, an instru- ment with which land is ploughed, a throne, the twenty-fourth part of a parasang. آماجگاه āmāj- gāh, The place where the mark is fixed for shooting arrows at.

آنگ ankhiyāṅ S̱. s. f. Eyes.

آب گوشت āb-i-gosht P s. Gravy, broth, water in which meat has been boiled down. (It is used in dressing pulāos).
