بوک bok वर्कर S̱. s. m. A he goat, a ram.

بسواس biswās S (विश्वास) s. m. Trust, confi- dence, faith. بسواس گهات biswās-ghāt, s. f. Taking advantage of the confidence of others, treacherous friendship. بسواسگهاتي biswās-ghāt-ī, s. m. A treacherous friend, one who seeks to take advan- tage of the confidence placed in him.

باج bāj H (perhaps for Pers. باز Back, &c.) post- pos. In the separation or absence, besides. Walī says, تجهـ باج جان ودل کون نشاط وطرب نهين In thy absence there is neither joy nor mirth for my soul and heart.

بلوانا bulwānā H (causal of بلانا bulānā) v. a. To cause to call or to send for.

بهواني भवानी bhawānī S s. f. Name of a Hindū goddess, wife of Siva or Mahādeva.

بهوگي भोगी bhogī S adj. Jovial, jolly. من بهوگي کرم دردري man bhogī karm daridrī, By nature fond of pleasure, but condemned by fate to poverty.

بوراني būrānī P s. f. A kind of food consisting of the fruit of the egg plant (baiṅgan) fried in sour milk.
