برهما ब्रह्मा brahmā S s. m. The Deity in the character of Creator, or matter personified. S. برهمانڐ ब्रह्मांड (ब्रह्म Brahm, and अंड an egg, to which the world is likened) brahmānḍ, s. m. 1. The globe, the world. (In creation there are said to have been innumerable Brah- mānḍas). 2. The top of the head.

بتيسي battīs-ī H s. f. 1. A set of teeth. 2. Any aggregate consisting of thirty-two parts. بتيسي دکهانا battīsī dikhānā, v. a. To show teeth; to laugh, to scoff or make faces at any one.

بهرکٿي bhirkuṭī S or bhr̤ikuṭī (भृकुटी) s. f. 1. The eyebrow. 2. A frown, a contraction of the brows. P.A. بـﮩرکيف ba-har-kaif, adv. By any means.

برشانا barshānā S̱. (from वर्षा) v. a. To rain.

بشن bishan S (for विष्णु vish̤ṇu) n. prop. (in Hindū mythology) The deity in the character of Preserver.

بيگ beg T s. m. A Moghal title, corresponding with the English, Lord.

بندا bundā विंदु S̱. s. m. A point, a dot.

بغبغانا bag̠ẖbag̠ẖānā H v. n. To boast, bluster.

بنساولي bans-āwalī S (वंशावली) s. f. A ge- nealogy. A. P. بنسبت ba-nisbat, With respect to, with rela- tion to, relative.

بهڙوا bhaṛūʼā H s. m. A pimp, one who lives on what a prostitute earns.
