بيدهنا bedhnā वेधन S̱. v. a. To pierce, to per- forate, to bore.

بزرگ buzurg P adj. Great; reverend, venerable; (used substantively) a grandee, a great man, no- ble, a saint, an elder, an ancestor. (Pers. plur. بزرگان).

باتوني bātūnī S̱. (from بات bāt) adj. Conversable, talkative, chatty, entertaining.

بردهنا baradhnā S̱. (from برد A bull) v. n. To bull a cow.

بانگ bāng P s. f. Voice, crying out, sound; the voice of the muʼaẕẕin calling Muhammadans to prayer; the crowing of a cock. بانگ دينا bāng denā, To call Muhammadans to prayer. بانگ مارنا bāng mārnā, To cry out, to call.

بهوتا bhotā H adj. Blunt, dull.

بکتر baktar P s. m. Iron armour, a coat of mail, a cuirass. بکترپوش baktar-posh, A man in ar- mour, a cuirassier, armed.

بينگ beng S̱. (for व्यंग) s. m. A frog, paddock, toad: see بهيک bhek. 2. byang (for व्यंग्य) Sarcasm, covert but intelligible expression of suspicion or contempt.

بکاول bakāwal P s. m. 1. A cupbearer, a steward. 2. A head cook, superintendant of the kitchen. بکاولني bakāwal-nī, s. f. A female بکاول q. v.

بهوکنا bhoknā H v. a. (dakh.) See بهونکنا bhonknā, and چبهانا chubhānā.
