برتن bartan H s. m. A dish, plate, basin, &c. ves- sel, utensil.

بينجني benjnī H (from بينگن) adj. Purple (the co- lour of the Solanum melongena).

بهرنگي bhringī S̱. (Sans. भृंग) s. f. 1. A kind of wasp, called also کمهاري kumhārī, q. v. (Vespa solitaria). 2. A large black bee, a humble bee.

Men who preside at a temple (i. e. بهنڐاري A steward; پوجاري A priest; رسوٴيا rasoʼiyā, A cook). 3. Those among the guests at a wedding feast who eat in company with the relations of the bride (those, who partake of the feast without, being called باهريا).

بهاکهنا bhākhnā भाषण S̱. v. a. To speak, say, tell, to call.

بهربهانڐ bharbhānḍ H s. m. The name of a prickly poppy. (Argemone Mexicana).
