بن bin S̱. (विना) adv. Without, except, un- less, not. بن جاني bin-jāne, With- out knowing, unwittingly. بن داني پاني bin dāne pānī, Without eating and drinking. بن ماري شهيدهونا bin māre shahīd honā, or بن تيغ شهيدهونا bin teg̠ẖ shahīd honā, To be slain without a wound (are expressions applied to lovers). بن ماري توبه کرنا bin māre tauba karnā, To fear without a cause.

بهوجي bhaujī भ्रातृजाया S̱. s. f A brotherʼs wife.

بجوانا bajwānā S̱. (causal of بجانا q. v.) v. a. To cause to sound, to cause to play on an instru- ment of musick.

بکام ba-kām P To or by or with the desire.

بهڙانا bhiṛānā H (caus. of بهڙنا) v. a. 1. To join, to place close to, to close. 2. To cause to fight.

بروپ bi-rūp S (वि and रूप Form) adj. Dis- figured, deformed, ugly. بروپ هونا birūp-honā, To be disgraced.

بيٿهارنا baiṭhārnā S̱. (caus. of بيٿهنا q. v.) v. a. To cause to sit down, seat, set, settle, place, station, apply, plant, calm, becalm.

بل bil S (विल) s. m. A hole, burrow.

بوزاگر bozā-gar P s. m. A maker of بوزا bozā, a brewer.

بهنگ bhang S 1. (for भंग r. भंज Break) s. m. Breaking, splitting; defeat, discomfiture. 2. (for भग्न) adj. Broken, torn, overcome, de- feated.
