بندهوانا bandhwānā S̱. (caus. of بندهنا bandhnā) v. a. To cause to be bound, tied, constructed, &c.

بلکنا bilaknā H v. n. 1. To sob, to cry violently (as a child). 2. To long for, to desire eagerly.

بيکال baikāl विकाल S̱. s. m. Afternoon. See بکال bikāl.

بن ban S (वन) s. f. A forest, a wood. بن جاترا ban-jātrā, s. f. The pilgrimage through the 84 forests of Braja. بن جهاڙنا ban-jhāṛnā or بن مارنا ban-mārnā or بن مجهاڙنا ban-majhāṛnā, To beat the forests. بن کنڐا ban-kanḍā or بن گونٿها ban-gonṭhā (Sans. वनगोविट्) Cow-dung found in the forests.

بلهي balhī H s. f. A fagot.

بدق badaḳ H s. See بط bat̤. P.A. بدقت ba-diḳḳat, With difficulty.

بحري baḥr-ī A 1. adj. Maritime, belonging to the sea, naval. 2. h. s. f. For بهري bahrī, q. v. A falcon, &c. P.A. بحسب ba-ḥasb, In the proportion, according to. P.A. بحکم ba-ḥukm, By command, by authority, &c.

بهنڐوا bhanḍauwā भंड S̱. s. m. Satire, ribaldry.

بکوادي bak-wād-ī S̱. (from بکواد) One who talks foolishly, an idle talker, prater, cackler.

بهجنا bhujnā S̱. (भर्जन r. भृज Parch, fry) s. m. Parched or scorched grain. S. بهجنگ भुजंग (from भुज A curve, and r. गम Go) bhujang, s. m. A serpent.
