اٿهانا uṭhānā S̱. (caus. of اٿهنا) v. a. To lift, take or raise up, to elevate, to hoist, to take or bear away, to produce, invent, cause, gain, get, enjoy, to abolish, excite, rouse, support, bear, carry, to remove, to receive, to suffer, to exhibit, to contract debts or purchase on credit, to expend. اٿها دینا uṭhā denā, To remove away, abolish, abrogate, exterminate.

آب جو āb-jō P s. f. A stream, a rivulet.

ا (for अ) a S A name of Vishnu: also, when prefixed to a word, it is an inseparable particle, signifying negation or privation; so, ادهرم अधर्म्म Injustice, from دهرم धर्म्म Justice; ادهن अधन Poor, from دهن धन Wealth.

ايجاد ījād A (inf. iv. of وجود) 1. s. m. Invention, contrivance. 2. adj. Invented. ايجادکرنا ījād karnā, To invent, contrive, devise.
