يون yūṅ H or yoṅ or yauṅ, Thus, in this manner. يون تون yoṅ toṅ, In various ways, somehow or other. يون نه يون yuṅ na yuṅ, One way or other, somehow or other. يونہين yūṅhīṅ or yoṅhīṅ, In this very manner, thus, accidentally, by chance, causelessly, easily, cursorily.

يہان yahāṅ S̱. (इह or from يہہ This, and स्थान Place) adv. Here, hither; at the abode, near, with. يہان تک yahāṅ tak, or يہان تلک yahāṅ talak, or (dakh.) يہان تگ yahāṅ tag, To this pitch, to this degree, thus far, hitherto. يہان سي yahāṅ se, Hence. يہان کا يہين yahāṅ kā yahīn, In the very same place, exactly here.

يزيد yazīd A n. prop. Name of an arch-heretick among the Mahometans, (hence) wicked, cursed, cruel.

يله yala P 1. s. Liberation; free. 2. adj. Crooked. 3. Absurd, vain. 4. s. A bad woman. 5. adj. Alone, single, solitary.
