هوتا جاتا hotā jātā : هوتا جاتا hotā jātā S̱. s. m. Coming and going. S̱. H. هوتا رهيگا hotā rahegā, An expression used in reply to terms of abuse; implying that "what "you have said of me is applicable to yourself." Mīr says:-- تويون گاليان غيرکوشوق سي دي همين کچهہ کہيگا توهوتا رهيگا Tū yoṅ gāliyāṅ g̠ẖair ko shauḳ se de; hameṅ kuchh kahegā to hotā rahegā, Give this abuse, if you please, to some other person; what you say of me will recoil on yourself.
