هلاک halāk A (from هلک) s. m. Perdition, de- struction, ruin, slaughter, death. adj. Lost, destroyed, fatigued. هلاک کرنا halāk karnā, To destroy, to overwhelm, to drive to destruc- tion, to distress, to fatigue, to kill. هلاک هونا halāk honā, To be killed, to perish, to be fa- tigued, to be tired.

هون hūn H s. m. A coin, called also a pagoda.

هستني हस्तिनी hastinī S s. f. 1. A description of woman, the worst of the four classes: see under پدمني. 2. A female elephant.

هگنڐا haganḍā S̱. (from هگنا hagnā, q. v.) adj. Polluted with excrement.

هاون hāwan P s. m. A mortar for pounding in.

هٿيلا haṭelā S̱. adj. See هٿهيلا haṭh-īlā.

هنپهنا hamphnā H v. n. To be out of breath, to pant.

هر har हल S̱. s. m. A plough. هربهوگ har- bhog, s. m. Anarchy, confusion, uproar. هربهوم کا راج har-bhūm kā rāj, A country or place in which injustice prevails.

هنڐار hunḍār H s. m. A wolf.

هتيارا hatyārā हत्याकार S̱. 1. s. m. A mur- derer, assassin, wretch, villain. 2. adj. Inhu- man, bloody.
