هڙنگا haṛangā H s. (dakh.) See خرابي ḵẖarāb-ī.

هريانا hariyānā S̱. 1. (see هرا harā) v. n. To be- come green, wax green. 2. v. a. To stop, prevent.

هونڐار hūnḍār H s. m. Wolf: see هنڐار hunḍār.

هما humā P s. m. 1. An eagle, a phœnix, a bird of paradise. 2. A bird of happy omen, peculiar to the East. (It is supposed that every head it overshadows will in time wear a crown). See عنقا aﻌnḳā.

هولي holī होला S̱. s. f. 1. The great festival held at the approach of the vernal equinox. 2. The song which is sung during the festival.

هانس hāṅs H s. (dakh.) A collar of gold or silver: see هنسلي haṅslī, sign. 2. and طوق t̤auḳ, sign. 2.

هينچ hīṅ-ch S̱. An emphatick particle (dakh.): see هين hīṅ.

هليا haliyā H s. m. A herd (of oxen), drove, flock (of cows).

هومنا homnā S̱. v. a. To perform the sacrifice of the هوم hom.

هرلا harlā S̱. s. (dakh.) Terminalia chebula: see s̱. هرا harrā.
