هرفاليوڙي harfā-leʼūṛī H s. (dakh.) The stones of the Cicca disticha, Linn. or chilimillie; called, also, the country gooseberry: Qanoon-e-islam, gloss. p. c.

هراسان hirāsān P (part. pres. of هراسيدن) adj. Frightened, fearful, frightening. P. S̱. هراسي جانا hirāse jānā, v. n. (dakh.) To be frightened.

هڙدنگي huṛ-dangī H s. f. Turbulence.

هما humā P s. m. 1. An eagle, a phœnix, a bird of paradise. 2. A bird of happy omen, peculiar to the East. (It is supposed that every head it overshadows will in time wear a crown). See عنقا aﻌnḳā.

هيبت haibat A (from هيب) s. f. Fright, pertur- bation, panick, horrour, dread, awe. هيبت دکهلانا haibat dikhlānā, To appal, to terrify. هيبت زده haibat-zada, Aghast, appalled. هيبت ناک haibat-nāk, Frightful, terrible, tre- mendous, dreadful, awful.
