هستي hast-ī P s. f. Existence, entity, world.

هوتا جاتا hotā jātā S̱. s. m. Coming and going. S̱. H. هوتا رهيگا hotā rahegā, An expression used in reply to terms of abuse; implying that "what "you have said of me is applicable to yourself." Mīr says:-- تويون گاليان غيرکوشوق سي دي همين کچهہ کہيگا توهوتا رهيگا Tū yoṅ gāliyāṅ g̠ẖair ko shauḳ se de; hameṅ kuchh kahegā to hotā rahegā, Give this abuse, if you please, to some other person; what you say of me will recoil on yourself.

هست hast S̱. s. m. (dakh.) Elephant: see هستي hastī.

هنڐار hunḍār H s. m. A wolf.

هتياري hatyārī S̱. (see هتيارا hatyārā) s. f. A murderess, a female murderer.

هرپهاريوڙي harphārewṛī S̱. (हरिपर्वरी) Name of a sour fruit. (Averrhoa acida: Linn. Cicca disticha: Gmel. Phyllanthus cheramela: Roxb..).

هارا hārā H (in compos.) denotes the performer of any act, dealer in any article. It is often represented in English by the word man, or the termination er; as لکڙهارا lakaṛ-hārā, A wood- man. مارني هارا mārne-hārā, A striker.

هنکاٿنا hankāṭnā S̱. v. a. (dakh.) To drive, drive away: see هانکنا hānknā.

همانا hamānā P 1. s. m. The opinion, imagina- tion. 2. adj. Like, resembling. 3. adv. Im- mediately, suddenly. 4. Ditto, the same thing repeated, as before, again.
