هجران hijrān A (from هجر) s. m. See هجر hajr.

هوجانا ho-jānā S̱. v. n. To have happened, to be- come.

هگاس hagās S̱. (from هگنا hagnā, q. v. and آس for आशा Desire) s. f. Inclination to go to stool, tenesmus. هگاسي بطخ hagās-ī bat̤t̤aḵẖ, A restless fidgetting person.

هسلي haslī H s. m. 1. The collar-bone, clavicle. 2. A collar (of gold or silver, &c.) worn round the neck as an ornament.

هستناپر हस्तिनापुर hastinā-pur S s. m. An- cient Dihlī, the capital of Yudhish̤ṭhira and his brethren, the remains of which still exist, about 57 miles N. E. of the modern city, on the banks of the old channel of the Ganges.

هيگا haigā S̱. (pres. or fut. sing. mas. of هونا) Is, must, may, shall or will be; an expression of consent, probably, suppose so, doubtless.

هاک hāk S̱. s. f. (dakh.) See هانک hānk.

هانک hānk S̱. (from هانکنا) s. f. 1. Cry, call, bawling, calling to (loud). 2. Driving. هانک پکار hānk-pukār, s. f. Uproar, outcry. هانک مارنا hānk mārnā, To bawl after, to call to.

هينسنا hīṅsnā H v. n. To neigh, to make a noise (as, a horse when kicking).

هان hān P interj. Make haste! know! have a care! let it not be! far from it.
