هنکالنا hankālnā S̱. v. a. (dakh.) To drive, drive away: see هانکنا hānknā.

هلگانا hilgānā H (causal of هلگنا hilagnā) v. a. To hang, to suspend.

هشياري hushyār-ī P (contract. of هوشياري) s. f. Prudence, sobriety, caution, taking care.

هينگا hengā H s. m. A harrow.

هتو huto S̱. or hutau (from Braj هونون honauṅ) Was.

هونٿهي honṭh-ī S̱. s. m. The bit of a bridle.

هما humā P s. m. 1. An eagle, a phœnix, a bird of paradise. 2. A bird of happy omen, peculiar to the East. (It is supposed that every head it overshadows will in time wear a crown). See عنقا aﻌnḳā.

هرول harol T. s. (dakh.) See هراول harāwal.

هنڐا hanḍā हंड S̱. s. m. A caldron, an earthen pot or boiler. هنڐا پهوڙنا hanḍā phoṛnā, v. a. (lit. to break the pot) To disclose a secret, to let the cat out of the bag. S. H. هنڐا بهاڙا hunḍā bhāṛā, s. m. Contract for transportation of goods, including the payment of duties.
