وافر wāfir A (part. act. of وفر) adj. Abundant, plentiful, copious, much, many, opulent, ample.

واڙ वाट wāṛ S (An enclosed piece of ground, a garden, &c.) A termination in compos. denoting place or en- closure; as, ستيواڙ satī-wāṛ, The place where a ستي satī is burned; پهولواڙي phūl-wāṛī, A flower- garden.

ولوله walwala A (from ولول Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. Howling, lamenting. 2. A tumult, noise, uproar, murmur.

وتيره watīra A (from وتر or rather from Heb. To stretch, to extend) s. m. 1. A path, way. 2. Manner, habit, custom. نيک وتيره nek watīra, A good disposition.

واسوخت wā-soḵẖt P s. f. m. An impassioned style in poetry.

وهمي wahm-ī A adj. Imaginary, conjectural, vi- sionary, fanciful, ideal.
